About Me

Known as a bookworm as a child I could be found tucked away with my head in a book.  I loved being taken to magical places of adventure,

Some years later I was inspired to try writing my thoughts down on paper and this eventually led me to be a writer for children. My husband and I love to travel and I often take notes to use in albums later. I’m always finding story ideas everywhere from walking in a park to a tv add or program to daydreaming while sitting in a café.  I would love to share my stories with children through writing, so why don’t you join me on this wonderful adventure, with a dream to be published.  We will have some exciting times through these pages, so take a seat, buckle up, it’s going to be an amazing ride.

    Hi Diane!
Many, many thanks for the lovely review of Sounds Spooky – I only just noticed your comment on my blog, so I stopped by yours to visit. I do remember chatting to you in L.A – wasn’t it a fun weekend? I’ve just been having a bit of escapist fun reading your travel insights – you’ve had some amazing experiences, and you certainly know how to capture them in words!
All the best – do keep in touch.

I'd like to know, since the advent of this media age, do you think most bookworms nowadays have blossomed into blogging butterflies entrenched in visual graphics and effects, while not abandoning the utility of imagination a book might ignite?

  8. Hi Diane,
I guess it is about time that I stopped by your ‘about’ page and left a comment. I am so honored and pleased to have connected with you…through Susanna’s Perfect Picture Book Friday and through Julie’s 12×12…and now through our very own international online critique group. I’m happy to join you on this exciting, albeit difficult, writing journey. You are a wonderful traveling companion.:)
