About Me

Known as a Bookworm in my early childhood and early teens I could be found tucked away with my head in a book.  I had a love of reading, any story, as long as it was a happy everafter ending.  I loved being taken away to a fairyland place, places of adventure,  any place, as long as it was miles from my normal life.  Coming from a broken family I treasured and craved these moments.

It was only five years ago late one night that I picked up a pen and wrote what has become a manuscript for my first novel.  I had been reading an interview given back in 1968 for a magazine by one of the worlds most iconic screen/theater actresses, regarding her quest that her daughters happiness be paramount during and after her divorce.  Such love moved me.

Now some years later I am still inspired. My name is Diane, a love of travel and writing, my head is full of stories waiting to be told.  So why don’t you join me on this wonderful adventure, with a dream to be published.  It is not an easy world, but it is an exciting one.  We will have some exciting times through these pages, so take a seat, buckle up, it’s going to be an amazing ride.

I'd like to know, since the advent of this media age, do you think most bookworms nowadays have blossomed into blogging butterflies entrenched in visual graphics and effects, while not abandoning the utility of imagination a book might ignite?
